This Year of Moments

This year I photographed my nephew’s first moments in the world, adventures in the wilderness and days by the ocean. I ran through cornstalks, had picnic lunches in beautiful places, climbed a mountain and collected wildflowers. I went on different roadtrips just to eat cotton candy with family, walk through a vineyard or watch fireworks light up the countryside.

Christmas Tree Hunting

We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful autumn day. Instead of just getting a wrapped tree in a pop-up tree lot, we had a fun afternoon exploring, picked the perfect live white fir and created a new family tradition! Topped off with hot cider and a gorgeous sunset back home.

Eyes Like Skies of Fall

This sweet boy came into the world seven weeks early, on his own time. Spending the first several days in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, he started with a fight. Proving strength comes in all sizes, even as little as under five pounds. You wouldn’t even know he was a premie, except for his tiny size, with his strong grip and little rolls.

Mountainside Bridals

It started with cloudy skies threatening rain.
